Steven's Bio
I was born in Brooklyn, New York, I thought it was the best place ever. Little did I know that I would want to explore worlds beyond where I live and grew up.
I enjoy socializing with close friends on hot topics that I feel will literally affect what we do in our lives. This includes but is not limited to; politics, religion, science, social status, personal finance, family values, and networking. Now with the Internet becoming what it is, these things become even closer than before. What we do with the knowledge based on these real life topics and opinions creates a deeper, morale compass that can effect your very core. I hope you enjoy what you see and read and hope you come out of this with deeper satisfaction that you've learned about one person's dreams and ambitions. Thank you! |
I am going to be as personal as I can, to quickly but efficiently explain what I have going on in my head on a daily basis. It contains more opinion than anything else, and with each one of these that I represent, it contains myself investing in each one with other people through discussion or debate. So here we go!

Politics: If you switch your television over to CNN or Fox news, I'm pretty sure they'll start talking business and stock markets, and the new bill that was almost passed but not quite yet. I like to hear the differences between federal laws and state laws. It gives me the opportunity to discuss with friends a new passing of something that may even affect my life, like how Obamacare allows me to be under my parents health insurance up until 26 years old. This gives me time to settle into life and figure out what I want to do without worrying about extra expenses.

Religion: What a tricky subject to talk about. I have friends who are religious from all around the world, this is the beauty of going to a community college in New York City. I get to hear different traditions, dances, foods, places, people, events, festivals, and ideologies. All biases are pushed aside as I try and relate who I am to the human race, and see how it all connects. It truly is amazing how some religions are so much older and different compared to others.

Science: This is one of my favorite things to talk about. Using state of the art machines and devices, we have learned so much about the earth and the world. We can live happily knowing that whatever we don't know is okay, because we don't have all the answers yet, and that is alright! It gives someone else the opportunity to work their hardest and invent a new life saving machine, or explore unknown worlds, or even change one thing into another that we have yet to see.

Personal Finance: I tend to fall victim to not taking advantage of my personal finances. I feel like the problem growing up was not enough schooling in these areas. An addiction to technology and video games also put a dent in my wallet. As I talk with friends and family I constantly grow and learn how to money in a way that works for me.

Family Values: This is something I try and not take for granted. I try to maintain communications with my family because sometimes out of the blue, they give invaluable information, that I would not normally get from looking on my own. I deeply care about my family and feel like I am who I am because of them.

Networking: This has been one of the most important things I have learned while being in school. Making connections to the people you work with, colleagues, or just people you get along with, is perhaps the most crucial parts of progressing through life. Professional acquaintances can lead to long lasting partnerships that can lead to healthy, and well balanced feelings
