Hello all! My name is David. I’m a 23 year old Hunter College- let’s say super junior. I was born and raised in New York City; Manhattan to be specific. I like to refer to New York as my hometown that just so happens to be a little bit bigger than most people’s hometowns. Growing up wasn’t much different than kids experiences anywhere else in this country. I played little league, went on field trips, and went to the beach with my friends. Only I played little league in central park, went on field trips to the United Nations and the Museum of Natural History, and went to the beach at Coney Island every summer. I’m not gonna lie, it was pretty sweet. Alas, the 90s’ are long gone and now I must progress with my real “adult” life of going to school and to supporting myself. I work in instructional technology for The City University of New York; this is a role that embodies aspects of peer mentoring, instructional technology, and teaching. Additionally, I kept my old job at a toy store in the city to make some extra cash. I’m not gonna say where exactly, because I’ll probably be bitching about it a lot, but I guarantee that you’ve heard of it. I also enjoy cycling, weird politics, reading, good beer, good music, and good friends. Welcome! |
